Across professional routes

Breadth across professional accounting routes

The curriculum develops transferable accounting knowledge and professional skills commonly used across international and major professional study routes, while all questions remain original and institution-neutral.

Across advanced cases

Evidence-led integrated judgement

Advanced simulations require reconciled populations, quantified materiality, benefit evidence, residual-risk analysis and clear recommendations to those charged with governance.

Across finance decisions

Value, liquidity and transaction discipline

Professional finance workspaces connect cash headroom, sustainable earnings, enterprise-to-equity bridges, covenant analysis, purchase-price protection and integration governance.

Across transaction cases

Linked decisions with controlled evidence

Advanced case work connects downside assumptions, valuation limits, financing resilience, contractual price protection, realised benefits and governance evidence without presenting forecasts as certainty.

Institution-neutral exam preparation

Designed around modern computer-based accounting assessment

The interface develops transferable assessment skills used across professional and university accounting routes without reproducing any body’s proprietary paper, wording or branding.

Objective and numerical tests

Questions before you begin

Accounting Practice Studio frequently asked questions

Eight concise answers about the curriculum, marking, recreating questions, review tools, independence and keeping a printable copy of your work.

8 questions
Which accounting areas are included?

The curriculum progresses from bookkeeping, costing and financial mathematics through reporting, performance management, corporate finance, audit, group accounting, strategic analysis and professional simulations, then into accounting information systems, sustainability reporting, public accountability, forensic investigation, treasury, valuation, restructuring and advanced transaction advisory cases, then dedicated internal audit, enterprise risk, compliance and advanced forensic investigation.

What is different about the extended case simulations?

They use five linked exhibits and require a sustained analysis of calculations, risks, controls and professional recommendations. Each simulation includes complete workings and marking guidance for professional recommendations.

How are calculations and written recommendations marked?

Structured calculations are marked by individual cells and reconciliations. Written interpretation receives indicative marks based on defined points. This is not presented as identical to professional examiner judgement.

Can the same activity or question be recreated?

Yes. Matching activity settings and the same activity seed recreate an activity, while a valid Question Reference recreates one exact question.

Are the questions taken from professional examinations?

No. The questions, scenarios and solutions are original and institution-neutral. The platform is independent and is not endorsed by a professional body, university or standards setter.

Does the platform reproduce every named professional syllabus exactly?

No. It covers major transferable accounting domains found across leading professional routes using original institution-neutral questions. It does not claim official equivalence, exemption, accreditation or complete reproduction of any provider’s syllabus.

How can I review mistakes and unfinished work?

Use the question map and review screen to return to unfinished or marked questions. After marking, mistake review, saved questions, spaced review and completed reports help you revisit weak areas without losing the original workings.

Can I print an activity or save a report as a PDF?

Yes. Open the print preview from an activity or completed report, choose the pages you need, and then use your browser’s print dialogue to print or save as PDF. Activities can also be downloaded as plain text when a non-PDF copy is more convenient.
